Instructions
ALIEN DEFENDER
Start by entering a speed (1 to 999) which corresponds to your skill level:
Absolute Beginners 1 to 200
Normal Humans 200 to 700
Computer Experts 700 to 900
Visitors from Space 900 to 999
The speed increases as play proceeds, up to the maximum of 999, after which the game continues until LOSSES exceed KILLS. You suffer a LOSS if an Alien zaps or hits you, and you gain a KILL for every Alien blasted.
Be warned! The second Alien appears more often as the game gets quicker.
Controls:
Spaceship movement is by the cursor keys (5, 6, 7 and 8). Lasers fire by pressing SHIFT at the same time as the appropriate cursor key. The spaceship has full screen wrap round capabilities, but the lasers divert all the ship's energy — making it a sitting target!
